I thought it was close but who cares. Smith wasn't landing much but was landing big and all of the shots he landed seemed to affect Hopkins. Can't take anything away from the kid for his showing in that fight. That last combo destroyed BHops, end of conversation.

Having Hopkins up in that fight is a joke! Hopkins won a total of one minute combined time if that.
If that old fool happens to get permanently hurt in the ring at 51 years old on national TV booking that fight would have them all on the carpet today and Oscar would be stumbling like an idiot!

Many people had Hopkins up. From what I recall of the stream, the entire BoxNation commentary team and studio presenters, which includes ex-boxers, had Hopkins ahead on the scorecards. One of them had Smith only winning 1 or 2 rounds.
