You don't agree to VADA testing If you want to cheat the system you use USADA instead, something is most certainly up the first issue was a non-issue which made something out of nothing I believe the greater powers of boxing don't want an American like Wilder fighting someone as dangerous and good as Povetkin because they know Povetkin would put an absolute beating on him and take that gifted WBC away from Wilder.

Sad because I like Wilder he is fun to watch but this whole situation makes boxing look like a joke I don't believe what is being said.

Povetkin is a WBC top 15 HW, fighting for the right to mandatory status for the WBC title. VADA was the mandated course of testing for that path. He knew from the Wilder fight purses that this path was extremely lucrative for him. He went for it and tried his best to not get caught doping. He just wasn't successful.

Boxer gets caught doping and mfers like you are acting like it's crazy that they'd try to cheat.

Ryabinsky is totally right. VADA is not above any doubt. Some extra-verifications have to be done by non US, UK or German laboratories. We all just have to read the racist comments even here ("all russians cheat", "These dirty russians ", ...) to understand that russianophia is real. That's a real hate over here. A bad one. Even but-hurt ***** is crying... When we hear that the White house claims that the election of Trump comes from russian hacking !!! We can't blindly trust that very strange situation and very strange timing.

While I do think it's never good when a fighter tests positive more than once, I also think these testing organizations aren't always on the up and up... both with their current tech and with their outside agendas. But we have to be able to reply on something. So it's really a catch 2 if you want to get technical about it.

For now though, the testing organizations are all we have to work with.

Who's gonna ban him? The Russian commission who was dealing with this fight let the fight happen so one would assume they don't give a f#ck. The WBC is likely to suspend him, but generally no one takes up WBC suspensions like one would a NSAC ruling or other state commission in the US. I don't believe there are checks & balances in place with the parties dealing with this fight to get Povetkin banned. All that could really happening is an unofficially blackballing of Povetkin.

At what point will Povetkin get a ban from the sport? How long are they going to tolerate his cheating?

I would say that he has brought shame to Russia but the government itself sponsors illegal doping over there. So it's obvious that they have no shame.
