Before you critisize Hatton too much, read this..

*Hatton moved up in weight, Collazo was a natural welter.
*Hatton has and always will have trouble with southpaws... His style just doesn't work as well against them.
*Look at his win over Tszyu.. He even looked better in it, and Tszyu was orthodox.
*Hatton didn't turn in his best performance.. He simply wasn't on his game fully last night.
*Collazo's style is more awkward than anyone Hatton has ever faced, with the possible exception of Eamonn Magee.
*Collazo had a good night, he turned in the best performance of his career and was at the top of his game. The same can't be said for Hatton.
*This was Hatton's first fight at welter, of course drawbacks were likely.

Please note that I agree, Collazo deserved a draw, the knockdown was a balance issue, like when Hatton fell in the later round. However I think Hatton is a league better than Collazo, he just had factors affecting his performance.

What I want to know is how Collazo who is not known for his power hurt Hatton? It will be interesting to see him fight someone known for their power at welter weight

If a fighter can land a clean punch, with or without KO power, it hurts.

Collazo's style isnt awkward at all, he jus boxed. That was the first good fighter Hatton fought that wasn't over the hill and thats what happened. Who cares if Collazo is a natural 147, so Collazo hits hardr than Tszyu? Collazo isnt known as a big puncher at all and even Hatton admitted he was hurt a few times in that fight.
