Vlasov looked pretty ordinary against Ramirez, but more recently he went to war with Chakhiev and though he did get dropped he won

        Maybe in the '50s.

America's biggest recent star had no aggression and just jogged around boxing for points.

What Usyk needs is to keep winning and make friends with some TV producer types. Get a reality TV show and get that mainstream beta male audience to lust after his lifestyle.

Well, it's clear you don't know what you're looking at. Ward rarely ever holds. He fights in the clinch sometimes. He will often bully inside. Not holding.
Usyk doesn't do that but it doesn't change what I originally said about those two being more similar than gg and Kov to Usyk. There's this weird thing where Gg and Kov fans are expected to be into Usyk but their styles are very different

Usyk is no American like Floyd so he has to be more aggressive like a foreigner called Pacquiao

I'm glad they want to bring Usyk back for the GGG-Jacobs fight.
Hopefully they get him a good opponent. And by good opponent I mean a top caliber opponent not that BS, just make me look great type of fight that other fighters like to have.
Style-wise I actually thought Mchunu would be one of the more uncomfortable and Usyk still made easy work of him.

Time to clean up the Cruiserweight division.

He did you moron. 9th round TKO. Skilled boxers don't go all guns blazing for no reason. He was in with an awkward opponent who had power and good defence. Usyk waited for the opening and took it when it came.

Ussyk is definitely very talented but he bores me to death. I found myself reading during most of this fight.

Ward's whole style is holding. The **** do you think "the clinch" is? To clinch someone, you have to hold them. In any case he's a ****ing dirty, cheating fighter, and you must at least admit that. Even if he didn't hold, he still headbutts and hits low regularly. Watch Precise Presenter's video on "Ward's dirty tactics" on youtube and you will see, guaranteed.

It was never going to be Hagler-Hearns. Anybody who has seen both of them fight before knew this going in.
Was probably a better fight for Usyk's development than the original opponent.
