Seriously, I could understand him cheating to face Wilder, as Wilder would have spanked him easily. But to cheat in a fight against Stiverne? Come on, man, that was just pathetic. Povetkin's reputation is dead and it did not go up by beating Duhaupas today...

He's done now in the sport
Its a shame, Wilder really needs a top opponent to remain relevant at the top
AJ has Klitschko, Fury already has the best win at HW for years.
The only fighters available for Wilder are Parker and Pulev, both of which I don't see happeningComment

All roads lead to AJ now at HW since he's the money man. You can bet Wilder will try to set up that fight.
There's Parker, Pulev, Ruiz, Ortiz, Haye... there are optionsComment

I wish you were correct, but PED/banned substance usage generally has little to no bearing long term with any boxer caught with most boxing fans & it doesn't seem to have done much damage in the short term outside of a suspension.
And honestly I don't know that Povetkin will be suspended by anyone outside of the WBC since this fight happened in Russia who seem to have had so little regard for this pissing dirty situation that there seemed to have been no talk of canceling this fight unless a replacement opponent wasn't found.
So I think ultimately Povetkin marches on in his career & at worst loses his WBC ranking. But the WBC has no ability to make any suspension they give Povetkin to be universal to other alphabet groups & more importantly boxing commissions.Comment

Ortiz too. Haye will be going down the WBO route, and already has a massive PPV fight lined up.
Something tells me we won't be seeing Wilder vs Parker/Pulev/Ortiz, even though he really needs one of those names to remain relevantComment
