As far as I cal tell, Hopkins didn't outright refuse testing, and I haven't heard anything about testing coming up negotiations. It would have been great if he did it though. Smith is testing because he has to as part of WBC's VADA program if he wants to stay ranked. Hopkins has been inactive for 2 years so he isn't ranked by any organization.

Thing is, this just shows how shady the sport can be sometimes. BHop, ancient wonder, highly regarded by all the boxing luminaries... possibly juiced, just to get thru the fight. And I am a fan of Bernard for many years. Hopefully, the 'looks' of this aren't what it really is. I'd hate for him to risk his legacy over an issue like this.
