Comments Thread For: Klitschko: Anthony Joshua Clash is Special, This is a 50-50 Fight

Klitschko's career has been on hold since losing his IBF, WBA, IBO and WBO belts in a surprising defeat to Tyson Fury in November 2015. Two attempts at a rematch failed because of Fury's personal problems, leaving the 40-year-old Klitschko in limbo after nearly a decade ruling the heavyweight division.

Surely given his dominance for more than decade he can get away from the "bum" title?

Granted I would put money he's past his prime, but to call him a bum seems harsh. He's by far Joshua's best opponent. Other than Wilder, I can't see anyone really making it proper fight.

Joshua is going to have his hand full in this fight. I think Klitchko will be more active than usual and won't be surprised if it goes the distance. I'm betting Wlad will surprise everyone and get his titles back.

As long as wkad don't give Josh the first 3 rounds like Molina did in hope josh tires then wlad might be ok

Vlad saying it's 50/50, don't believe I've ever heard him say something like this before. Shows he respects Joshua a lot.

Those who TRULY know boxing can see past smoke and mirrors , Joshua is the most dangerous fighter since 80's Mike Tyson ,Wlad KNOWS this too....IF Wlad wins he is without a doubt the best HW in history . Keep in mind there is a rematch claus so we will see who wins and loses and how , so i'll reserve that for rnd two.

It's the premier HW match up we have today for sure. The winner is King.

Exactly right! The later it goes, the better for Wladimir. He has gone the distance before while Joshua has never had to fight late. We shall see.
