Hattons Reach At 147 Major Disadvantage

Is Hatton another Hamed? He did beat Tszyu, but it was in England, like most of his fights. He did fought in the US twice but it was in 2000 and 1998 against no name opponents. But from the fight against Collazo and comments from forum members, he did not do enough to deserved the win against Collazo. Is his fight with Collazo a Hamed-Kelly fight? And if Collazo fight Margarito, PBF, or Dela Hoya, will it be the Hamed-Barrera fight?

He's not Nas ! Nas became pop off his circus intros his ridicules style and arrogant personality, None of which Hatton possesses. Hatton in American terms is a Gatti or a Lamotta a gun slinger who is going to give his all but sooner or later will meet his match. He can be fun to watch and should have no problem finding fans in America because he is likable, unlike Nas who was a clown with a big punch

not a disadvantage at all. Hatton is an inside fighter. he could have 1 foot arms and it would hardly make a difference. When he gets used to the weight, i see him putting up a GREAT fight agaisnt all the mentioned fighters. He would definetly lose to DLH, but hed put on a hell of a show.

I think it was the stance that bothered Hatton more than anything, southpaw changes everything.

I think Hatton stands a good chance at any of the elite at welterweight, i think he does have alot of work to do once he hits the gym but Hatton himself said so too. he'll get better at his new weight, i think his next fight will shut alot of already Hatton haters up

No, no, no more excuses...Collazo was by no means an awkard fighter...Ricky did not have a plan B...not Collazo's fault. Hatton's only adjustment in the fighter was holding and holding more. And the new Hugging Champion of the World "Ricky the Hugger Hatton.. Hitman, Thomas Hearns should sue him for disrespecting the name...

how can you say he's not an awkward fighter? he's a tall, rangy southpaw. it doesn't get any more akward than that, kid.

exactly! His style wasn't the most awkward thing, it was his height, reach and size.
