I wonder if kelly made good investments and just retired to focus on his health or if he's dirt broke and living in someone's attic.

It seems like given how young he is, if things were really that south he would have some circus comeback fight. Everyone else is doing it.

Dunking hit all these topics one by one out of the park. Smith bragging he's fighting a 50 year old legend who probably will outclass him with his bag of tricks. Also Pavlick before the Hopkins fight Had beaten Taylor twice who is twice the fighter smith has ever beaten or will ever beat. Fonfara had him hurt rushed in to finish him and he got finished. Smith can punch that's it. He is delusional discussing his elaborate jab and boxing skills he is a no D straight up chin in the air wild brawler the kind of fighter the old Hopkins used to get drunk then mug him Holmes style. I hope Hopkins goes out in style.

Kelly was not the first pro athlete to **** up their career once they tasted success and he most definitely won't be the last. Another Ohio boy Aaron Pryor (& Broner) did the same ****. They lose the eye of the tiger doh. Dudes like Hopkins and GGG who have that kind of discipline are the exception more than the rule. I would've liked to see Pavlik fight on but not if his heart wasn't in it. He gave this Ohio boy some great memories though. He would've beat Sergio if he didn't suffer that cut. Crazy to think he's the same age as GGG. That would've been a cracker while it lasted.

Dunkin isn't wrong here... I don't really know how good Joe Smith is. We will find out soon enough though. I'm hoping Hopkins can go out with a win. A true ATG and he did it his way. Let's go BHop!!

Take a look on Youtube, and good luck finding some of Smith's fights. Outside of the Fonfara fight, the few you will find are filmed with a hand held camera, and with bad lighting.

IOW, NO ONE knows how good Smith is, unless they've been attending his fights locally in NYC area. And by no one, that includes Dunkin. So IOW he's mainly talking out his backside. It's likely Bernard gets the typical BHop UD, but it's also likely we'll see a few special moments from Smith.
