Since I've had a little time to reflect on last night and watch the fight again, this is my opinion. Collazo is a southpaw and Hatton does'nt look good against them. not just this but he struggles to win!
I believe Hatton is on the slide. His peak was Stewart, Oliviera! To me he seemed to be fighting through a fog a lot of the time, and speed? I wonder if Hattons been working on the weights too much cos there was'nt a great deal of snap in his shots!
He IS a very lucky man to win on away soil in such a close fight! I think he needs to do 4 things. Keep away from southpaws, work more on speed than strength (knock downs rearly come from power shots you see coming), Fight more often (if he fights every 6 months and has 6 more fights his last 3 could be losses even to modest opposition), and last but not least, move back down in weight and keep himself within 10 pounds of light welter the only matchups Hatton should take at welter are Floyd or Oscar, anyone else is'nt worth it!!!
