    Jorge Linares and WBC Title?

    Does anybody know what is the deal with Linares and WBC Lightweight title? I've noticed that he won the title as vacant in 2014 against Prieto and then defended it twice against Mitchell and Cano. But then he fought against Crolla already for WBA title and this fight was not listed as unification. Instead Zlatichanin fought for VACANT WBC title. Why Linares vacated the title? He didn't have any fight in other divisions... What was the reason? Just didn't want to pay sanctioning fees? Or smth else?
