Comments Thread For: Klitschko Says The Loss To Tyson Fury Was a Wake-Up Call

WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO last night admitted the loss to Tyson Fury was the wake-up call he needed. The former WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF heavyweight king was outpointed by Fury in Dusseldorf last year in his first defeat for 11 years.

A wake up call that you suck? A wake up call that you single handily killed the heavyweight division? A wake up call you have the most boring fights in the history of boxing? A wake up call HBO wouldn't broadcast your fights because they ****** so bad? At 40 he has a wake up call.....???.

It has to be a wake up call for a giant of a man in his shape afraid to throw punches disgraceful. You put marcianos heart in that body he rules for as long as he wants. Fury shucking and jiving moving his head in out side up down that hypnotized him like a cobra? Disgraceful you never learned a body punch that doesn't move. Imagine Ali moving wow

Some quality statements from Vladimir here, intelligent language as usual. He's of course said these things before, that the loss was good for him -- and I think it was. He was not fully motivated for Fury, even though he might think he was himself at the time. It's a psychological thing and there could have been other outside the gym/ring factors involved too of course.

He is going to deliver with Joshua.

I like this fight/ Joshua has not beaten anyone to be world champ, Martins was a joke!

I think Joshua has the edge only as we do not know how much Klitschko has left. When he steps into the ring around 18 months out of the ring and coming off a loss which he averaged 12 punches around.

                Should be an interesting fight

Sometimes we learn more from our loss than our win. I think we'll see a highly motivated and confident Wlad. This fight is so difficult to predict cause we still haven't seen AJ against a top level fighter. Is AJ the real deal or not? I do hope so.
