Look at Duva's body language and how she puts her head down, like she's ashamed, when Radio Raheem asks her about Kovalev's split. There's something there.

Also, Roc Nation paid Ward out of their pocket to get him his 5 mil. For everyone saying that Ward got the better part of the deal, that's false. Ward's promoter provided Ward's additional split, not Duva. You guys were making it seem like Duva hooked Ward up and gave him the better half of the split, when that's not the case.

What Ward is saying now is he doesn't want Roc Nation to pay his half, he actually wants the larger share of the "fight pot" of money; not Roc Nation's supplement.

Ultimately, this comes down to what was in the original contract details. Duva says one thing, but history has proven that she hasn't always been the most honest when it comes to business.

What's the problem with what he said?

He's saying the rematch has to make sense. Obviously Ward is telling us something that's contradictory to what Duva is saying.

The only way to find out who's telling the truth is to have insight on the rematch clause.

Didn't it make sense to him the first time around,else why would he have signed the original contract in the first place?

What's happening is Ward is either playing mind games that he might duck (which is the most cowardly type of mind game that exists), or he's thinking about ducking. Or he took such a beating in the first fight, he's stalling the rematch to give his body more time to recover in between fights, but he can't come out publicly and say that because if he admits he needs more time to recover between fights than Kovalev as a result of taking more damage than Kovalev, then he basically admits he lost like everyone saw.

One of those. Hopefully Ward is what he claims to be, a fighter who wants a legacy, and does the rematch in April.

Along the lines of what I was thinking. I guess we'll soon find out if he still wants that legacy, or if he decided after getting ****** up that bad.... no thanx... I'll just be a comentator.
