it clearly says 5 million is the initial offer, it also says that they are agreing on a pct, but it doesnt even say pct for what, if you read the full bolded, he says he doesnt know much about the negotiation, he sounds like he will agree on everything unless they ask something his body cant do...
chavez wont even mention PPV money at all...
again the only thing that was mentioned regardless money it was the 5 million as an initial offer from canelo, doesnt mean its going to be 5 , but thats the starting offer, no ppv money has been mentioned anywhere...
Lamazon also gave the same details on tv azteca and has the same information, his source is maybe chavez sr, but who knows..

Dont get me wrong, I'd love to see GGG accept the $10 mill and beat the diva back down to catchweight but can understand why they want to negotiate further as it literally happens in virtually every fight

if they negotiate is fine, as long as they make the fight. but just dont call it a duck if you turned this down due to money...
chavez clearly stated that he has no problem with any part of the negotiations unless they ask him something his body cant do, thats why i suspect the the counter offer is more related to the weight and any possible sanctions that could be related to... and it wont hurt to ask bit more i agree...

again, nowhere anybody has mentioned anything about ppv money, and it seems like chavez knows very little about the negotiations, concerning money the only thing that has been mentioned is the 5 million offered by canelo... it doesnt mean that chavez cant get more than that, but it is what it was offered...
so the offer was for half what ggg was offered, even if there is no ppv split there could be an upside on either cases...

I said Maravilla Martinez ducked GGG and fought Martin Murray instead. They were both Champions at the time, 2012.Martinez WBC and GGG WBA. The other guy gave Credit to Chavez jr for almost knocking out Martinez. If GGG would have fought Martinez he would have KO him.

Wasn't Sergio like 37-38 then??? AND Unlike GGG who has never really had a decent opponent Sergio fought...

Wasn't it Oscar who pushed the fight all the way to September 2017? If the fight isn't happening for another year what's wrong with waiting a bit? GGGs stock is likely to increase while Canelo's decreases.

And yes of course Jr will take it for the money...he has never been able to compete with a top tier fighter. Jr's activity was better last Sat but he fought a guy who was small and a 'B' fighter which is his specialty....smaller 'B' fighters. By the end of the fight he was fighting with his left down low...Canelo will KO him if he does that.
