  • Loeffler/Sanchez/GGG Please Read: Why You Should Take GoldenBoy's Deal...

You have to look at a business from a bottom line perspective. it is allllllllllllllll about risk vs reward.

At 160, in a fight realistically, Canelo loses 9/10 to GGG. It is just a horrific matchup for Canelo. He's giving up, reach, power, activity, stamina and yes boxing skills. Plus Canelo has concrete feet. We can argue about this separately.

So basically, if you have a 90% chance of winning with GGG from your camp. You are holding King King and 2 kings just flopped on the river. Someone says "all in" are you going to think twice? you absolutely take the gamble.

Goldenboy and Canelo need to take a much larger share of the pie because their future would be uncertain after this sustained punishing loss.

It all comes down to probability. It is not about drawing power. It's about the probability of the actual fight. Your risk is far, far lower than GB

That's one GGG fan coming to his senses. Any others want to join? HeroBando _Maxi OnePunch Eastcoast ????? In three years when Canelo is only 31 and still fighting on PPV and GGG is 38 and getting ready to retire and the fight never happened will you still be trying to explain to everybody why he would've been stupid to take the $10 mil? Will you still be telling us GGG is still trying to negotiate a better deal for Nov 2020?

Golovkin has a 90% chance??? Best case scenario for Golovkin it's 50/50, Golovkin is yet to fight a top level fighter, when a welterweight hurts you several times I don't know how you have a 90% chance against Canelo

This fight is at 160 so we can't look at things in a P4P sense.

Martin Murray beats everyone on Canelo's resume. David Lemiux beats everyone too at 160.

Honestly Kell Brook beats everyone on Canelo's resume including Mayweather at that age.

Never listen to the people who said Manny would never get more than 40 million flat.

Manny was an underdog in that fight.

Mayweather basically wanted Manny to take A LOT less money even though Manny has less probability to win the fight in the first place. Mayweather was a 2-1 favorite.

Look at the vegas odds for Canelo/GGG. it's 5:1. That is only because they know they are going to get a hell of a lot of Canelo bets to hedge themselves.

in reality, skill for skill, attribute for attribute. it's closer to 9-1 imo

Lara, Cotto, and Mayweather beat Murray and Lemiuex

I don't think your economics are right. After Canelo there's no other potential opponent that'll bring in half of that.

Sanchez is fine with 10m, he says it's Gggs call. And Ggg is not taking a flat fee when no credibility chumps like Khan and Chavez are getting fat upside.

Do any of you actually have proof that Golovkin received a contract and refused to sign?
No. Even if there was an offer sent by e-mail, there are still details to be worked on. Sanchez himself said that if 10 millions was ok for Golovkin, then it was ok also for him.

Get it Motorpity? or your brain isn't working today as usual?

Will you believe Oscar and Canelo? we sent an offer doesn't mean they really sent an offer or an actual contract. They also say GGG is running from Canelo, do you also believe that?

Since the fight would be in september, probably not even Canelo and Oscar are ready to sign, they would likely wait until a few months before the fight.

Canelo vacated to avoid GGG, don't try to spin facts.
