    Finally... (for the 10th time)
Not so excited about this one but eager to see it out of the way so that other things can develop.

Hey, a credible opponent. Look at that.

Only took GGG till close to his 35th birthday

All jokes aside I'm looking forward to it. Could be a good fight or might be a quick stoppage.

            October 21st

Promoter Tom Loeffler requested and was granted an extension of 15 days by the WBA to avoid a scheduled purse bid on Friday or Saturday in order to continue negotiating a fight between Gennady Golovkin and Danny Jacobs
“Just trying to finalize the deal with the Jacobs side,” Loeffler said in a text message of the extra time allotted. “No sense in forcing a purse bid when it looks like we can work out a deal that makes more sense for the fighters than the purse bid split.”
            Dec 14th

Loeffler feels confident that he'll be able to reach a deal prior to a purse bid. He's ironing out the fine points with Jacobs' adviser Al Haymon.

"We're trying to make the fight with Danny Jacobs for the beginning of next year, March of next year. Hopefully we can get that wrapped up in the next day, hopefully by tomorrow and then we would have a nice fight to announce," Loeffler told BoxingScene.com.

"The purse bid is set for next Monday, so there is not really a lot of time to negotiate. I've been in regular contact with Al and I fell confident that we can work out the deal."
Same thing he was saying almost two months ago when he asked for an extension. If you think you can wrap up the negotiations tomorrow why even bother giving this update? Just wrap it up tomorrow and announce it Friday. Maybe Lying Loeffler will prove me wrong this time and actually tell the truth for once.

They have no other choice otherwise they wont get payed. The PPV buys for Crawford vs Postol, Kovalev vs Ward, Pacman vs Vargas, Canelo vs Smith ******.

I just feel like if they had just held to the purse bid deadline this could have been sorted out long ago, there is nothing motivating like a real deadline. Especially after they denied Jacobs the better number.

                    Awesome
I hope this gets done. If Golovkin wins then he's beaten the best middleweight in the world aside from himself
If Jacobs wins then he's beaten Quillin and Golovkin and is the new king of the castle for sure

Decent potential for a pretty fun fight as well
