Fight needs to be on HBO where people will actually watch it. This is too big for Showtime, Showtime doesn't build stars, that's HBO's world, don't fck this up Joshua, you'll end just like the rest of haymons fighters.

Joshua isnt a 'Haymon fighter' though. He has an exclusive deal with Showtime but is promoted by Matchroom. He has no managment or promotional deal in the US as far as i know.

All his big fights in the near future bar maybe Wilder are going to be in the UK. Wilder probably will be too, but Josh may want to increase his profile in the US by fighting over there i dunno.

I know that but he won't become anyone special in the U.S. On Showtime.

Showtime hasn't built a star in forever. They just can't do it.

Joshua on the other hand, looks the way Americans want a heavyweight to look, and fights the way, Americans want to see a heavyweight fight. HBO could make him one of their top stars a big ratings guy in no time.

It is completely idiotic for anyone with star potential to fight on Showtime.
