Hopkins needs to be able to hurt him, if not I got Smith by decision possibly KO. Smith can hit like a mule and Hopkins is prone to getting into exchanges at times.

Smith is my slight favorite to win, but I really wouldn't be surprised if Hopkins pulls out a W as long as he stays disciplined.

I dont think Smith jr has the necessary tools to beat hopkins.
Hopkins loses against guys who have 1) very high workrate (calzaghe) 2) are primarily quick boxers who fight from the outside, where hopkins doesnt have the opportnity to capatalise on mistakes or 3) are known under the name Kovalev.

Smith has.... power? But if Kovalev cant knock hopkins out, a very crude come forward guy like smith wont have a chance.

Smith has no experience. He fought to a UD and lost rounds by doing so against a low level gatekeeper in Rosinsky and knocked fonfara out in round 1.

Never fought 12 rounds, never fought against guys who arent stationary targets, never fought against someone remotely like hopkins.

I just saw some fights and he has a weird albeit powerful left hook and his technique is all over the place.

Only if hopkins has NOTHING left anymore, he will lose against Smith.

Will be rooting for BHOP. However, this fairy tale ending can quickly turn into a nightmare.

Smith has nothing to lose here...would be pretty good karma to see Hopkins layed out cold for being a cheater. Some boxers tend to overthink things once they step up though....could be the case
