Ward is an exceedingly selfish, greedy man.

I feel ashamed to do this, its like telling a child that there is no santa claus...but Boxers dont actually do the negotiations themselves, they have other people in their camp or organization, the "Business" people. Or are you speaking of personal knowledge of Andre Ward? He also doesnt do the scoring for his fights, professional boxing judges score the fight. Glad I can teach you a thing or two about boxing, if you have anymore questions, feel Freedom to ask, It feels good to help young whippersnappers oh yeah, Rocky was not real, it was a movie.

Ward is more independent than most boxers. His promoters don't decide who he fights, how much money he makes, HE MAKES THE DEMANDS, AND HE DECIDES.

He made the decision to hire shady James Prince (to pay off officials?) and the PED guru Victor Conte. He sued terminally ill Dan Goossen.

Others who are their own bosses include Mayweather and Klitschko.

Move on. He got caught. Got back up and finished the guy.

Slava is a Top 10 Light Heavyweight and will have the oppurtunity to prove it even more Friday.
