We've seen it a thousand times. The unknown guy gives a better fight than expected or shows unusual bravery against adversity and everybody says we'll see them fight again, but we never do.

Phillip N'Dou against Mayweather...never saw him again

Felix Sturm against De La Hoya...never did anything with his career

Jorge Rodrigo Barrios against Freitas...probably won't see him in a good fight until he fights Barrera if that ever happens. Better hope he wins on Saturday

I mean this list goes on forever and the guys take years to work back into the spotlight so everybody who thinks Collazo put on a great show or whatever tonight...I get the feeling you won't be seeing him in a good fight for a while, especially since he doesn't have a belt now

Cola did beat Rivera, so he will not be an easy fight for any brawler. I will like to see Cola against Margarito.

N'dou retired. You really can't put the man down. He was one of the P4P hardest punches in the game. 31 ko's in 34 fight is no joke.

Sturm will not be an easy fight for anyone.

Sturm and Collazo are definitely top 5-6 in their respective weight classes, and I hold no ill will towards Collazo. He's the man that signed contracts to fight Mayweather, Margarito, Gatti, Judah, a whole bunch of dudes all at once and jumped as soon as Hatton's name came up as an option. Very brave and hungry fighter Collazo. But the unknown guys that put up good fights never reemerge on the boxing scene the way they used to. I'm just tired of everyone saying, "what if Collazo vs..." everytime a fighter like Collazo loses, when in reality, these guys always disappear.

You right. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Collazo fades away.
But I don't agree with Barrios as a good example. That boy gave Freitas a hell of a fight. After that he exposed some undefeated prospect (I forgot his name) and became WBO champion (Dosn't mean much, but hey). He's in line for a Barrera fight, which should pay him okay. I think Barrios is doing pretty good.
