Amir Khan deserves better, whatever you think of his chin or boxing ability he obviously has great character and is one of the good guys in all of sport.
He does a lot to help his people and others and is a great example of a good ******, he has huge balls and greatness in his heart (and chicken legs and a china chin we know)

Exactly - they want all the access to financial / social benefits of Western Democracy but none of the VALUES.

How anyone can condone Islam's treatment of women and their rights is just beyond me.

Personally I have got nothing against anyone religion or creed but am tired of people who think everyone should cater to them because of their religion. I have seen mates and families gone through this sort of thing before. They all suffer in silence because they don't want to shame their parents, community etc.

The ones that tries to speak out would probably get put down with honour killings etc, it seems Khan wife has had enough thus she came out fighting now, and from what I could see it does seems she has been suffering bullying attempts from his family.

Am sure if she knew this was what she was going to get from his family she would never have marrried him or even move into the family house. I think she would be applauded for speaking out and not accuse of "Crying about it" and hopefully this would empower more to come out and do the same thing instead of suffering in silence.
