Their going to Honor Kill Faryal. Then amir Khan goes on a rampage, kills his parents, but he died when his chin got tagged, then visits Allah and judges him. "You failed to bring honor to Allah by getting knocked out by DSG!" and sends him to hell.

This sounds like a legit cultural clash.

Shah raised Amir a certain way, and handles Amir a certain way. He's been handling him like that for 30 years. I His wife on the other hand was raised differently, so she has different views/ideas/beliefs, etc.

Amir should have stepped in EARLY and either told his wife to kowtow to the way they do **** in their family, OR told his folks that Faryal comes from a different kind of household/family, and that they would have to make concessions on certain things to keep the peace.

Personally speaking, and coming from a super cultural family, my mother is extremely head strong, independent, etc. My father actually told her exactly which cultural things could and couldn't be skipped, and backed her the **** up when she needed to be backed up, so despite respecting and upholding tradition, she didn't/doesn't allow it to dictate how she lives.

Amir seems to have allowed his wife to get a million surgeries, but hasn't been able to back her up when she really needed it. So I find myself holding Amir more accountable than anybody in this situation, because if he had acted in the beginning, this might have been avoided.

Just my 2 cents.
