Will AJ-Klit crown a new lineal Heavyweight champion?

AJ isn't the top dog in the division. He has precisely 0 wins against someone with a pulse currently.
I absolutely despise the Birmingham Bumhunter, but even he's got a better track record than AJ. Hell, impressive or underwhelming - even Parker has 2 quality wins. I'd call Ortiz's win v Jennings above any win AJ has also. Povetkin is another with actual wins to claim merit from.
AJ right now, has no grounds to be fighting to be lineal, undisputed, or anything of the theme. Yet.Comment

Fury is the "lineal"...Comment

Klitschko was the long-reigning champion at heavyweight (though his brother also having a belt never offered the chance to establish a sole lineage, as Lennox Lewis was the last lineal champ and he retired on a win), and then got beat by Tyson Fury.
The new lineage will be established once all of the belts are unified again; Wilder has his WBC mandatory, the WBA needs to square away their title situation (Wilder/Klistchko for the top belt, Ortiz-Briggs for the regular belt, the Ortiz-Briggs winner versus Fres Oquendo, and then Ortiz/Briggs/Oquendo winner facing Klitschko/Joshua winner), the WBO arguably has one mandatory owed, and the IBF will likely have a mandatory defense come due in the near future.
A ton of moving parts, but doubt that a new lineage gets established until 2018Comment

fury retired didn't he lolHow is Wlad #1 when he lost his last fight? WTF?
#1 Fury
#2 Wlad
#3 Wilder or Povetkin
#4 Joshua
#2 vs #4 does not make you lineal no matter how much you like AJ.
And rankings don't mean that AJ is worse than Wlad, Wilder or Povetkin. It just means those 3 fighters have done more in the division and deserve a higher ranking.Comment
