I really felt bad for Bute. He was never the same boxer after Carl Froch Cobra'd him.

If Bute wins, Bute vs. Stevenson is a huge fight for Canada

Good fight and ultimately, I don't mind it... But the fact that Stevenson hasn't fought Alvarez yet is largely why he is falling into obscurity at LHW. People think of Ward or Kov as the main guy at LHW despite the fact that Stevenson is the lineal champ. That's due to activity and quality of opponents. I hope he does ultimately fight the winner, but with his lack of top comp at LHW, more and more people will forget about him.

          absolutely, good call !

and Stevenson is still a live dog, but the clock is ticking for him

..... regarding Bute, does anyone know what PED he got pinged for recently? was it a diuretic ?

Stevenson definitely packs a punch. I just wish I could see it against better opposition...

It was for ostarine I think. It boosts stamina and ability to recover. I'm surprised his back in the mix so soon...

Don't see Lucian outboxing Alvarez or surviving vs. Adonis.

Good to see Bute staying busy with a significant fight. Low activity is a death knell for older fighters. He'll definitely have his hands full with Alvarez, but should get a UD. Stevenson may be another story though. All depends on how sharp he is in there. He has the tools, just can't seem to pull the trigger as well or as much as he did in his peak, pre-Froch.
