I might watch this classic again. That fight was too exciting to score at the time - I don't get how some of you can get a pen and paper out start scoring the rounds as they go along. Although I think Whyte came close to being stopped a few times, I thought when they were both tired he kept his stance better and fiddled through a number of the rounds better when he wasn't being bludgeoned. Del Boy is a proper open book in that he looks like a fish out of water when he's tired. He is such an asset to British boxing despite all the nuts things he does but at one point I thought Don Charles was going to have throw in a rubber ring for him. There is dog tired and there is that. And yet he still kept hurting him.

I wanted Del Boy to win too. I am sure he has done well out of boxing but I hope he gets a big payday in the rematch.

I had Chisora winning too, btw.
True, he did go down in flames vs Joshua so I've got to acknowledge his toughness and fighting pride, but he's going to be a gatekeeper at best. Also feel shedding 15 or 20 lbs would do him no harm.

No you didn't. Dude struggles against an ancient Chisora, and somehow still thinks he's the shit.

Whyte showed a lot more variation than I thought he possessed.

I had Chisora on the SD, but either way it was the best HW fight I have watched in a LONG time.

Chisora rolled back the years and was a badass.

I think this fight had to end in a draw so, Chisora in some rounds hits very strong punches but he couldnt resume. He deserves rematch. Another side, Whyte has developed a lot of himself. Thanks to two fighters for their passion.

Whyte won by 2 but had the ref counted the knockdown in the 12th it would of been more.
Del was resting too much allowing Whyte to win the close rounds but what an unbelievable Heavyweight fight both boxers deserve credit for this classic.

That was a slip, what should have been counted as a KD was Whyte falling in to the ropes and the ropes keeping him up at the end of the 12th.

Watch it back Whyte connected with a decent right Dels feet went and he went on the deck flat 100% knockdown.

There's no way Whyte swinging a punch and missing then bouncing into the ropes is a knockdown 😂
