as much as he gets slated, mayweather was an absolutely phenomenal fighter. Cant just keep comparing new up and coming fighters to him. Crawfords not beaten a top opponent yet. If he goes up to welter and starts doing a job on people then we can start saying about him being a potential mayweather level fighter. People moan about the size difference between brook and golovkin, but jesus christ they should have a look at crawford v gamboa, was watching the highlights again today and gamboa is like half the size of him.

To put into perspective Floyd was 29 in 2006...He was a 4 division champion, 3 time lineal champion and p4p #1

this is where it gets tricky with the definition of a top fighter, postol was technically a top fighter in that division but i dont see him as an elite guy like the numerous elite fighters mayweather beat. Hes not a de la hoya, castillo, pacquiao, ducknelo, mosley and the list goes on... Never really bought the 50/50 fight thing myself, thought crawford would win pretty easy and he did.

THE GUY HAS ONLY LOST ONE SCORECARD HIS WHOLE CAREER AND THAT WAS AGAINST THE HOUSE AND MONEY FIGHTER IN VEGAS!!!!!
The rest of the time, Floyd was the house guy...... So of course he never lost another card.

JLC is the only fight you can make that case for. No other fights pre-DLH can you make that case for. Some fighters like Canelo are up 4-0 at the start of the first round

I dont think anyone beats Crawford 140-147, I'm a Brit and I think his challenge will be Josh Taylor, 2018 it will be a classic, mark my words, theyre made for each other
