Whyte v Wilder, is it likely?

So how likely do you guys think this is? I just heard last nights bout was a WBC eliminator, had no idea when watching it. So, does Wilder take the fight or look for another journeyman?

I don't know if its likely, but I'd definitely watch it. Seeing if Deontay can cause Whyte's "rudeboi" accent to disappear like Chisora did would be hilarious.

whytes not great but hed still be too dangerous for wilder. Wilder will drag some rotting carcass into the ring for his next opponent, is at the graveyard looking for his next match up as we speak.

Isn't Povetkin vs Stiverne also an eliminator as well?

Whyte IS a journeyman. Wilder has wasted enough time already.

Whyte himself said Chisora is a gatekeeper. Whyte is gatekeeper level.

Maybe not, but you talk like Whyte would be a step up in competition for Wilder...

I wouldn't mind this fight, but Whyte is no better than the guys Wilder has beaten in the last two years.

Whyte was talking last night about taking a break, then two more fights before a title fight. Chisora hurt him several times so I don't think Wilder would have a problem.

Rather watch a Whyte-Chisora rematch. Chisora takes him out next time.
