Anyone go in a boxing booth?

I don't know what it's like in the rest of the world but in the UK the boxing booths are few and far between. The last I saw was in about 1980 at a local fair. The MC was inviting all comers, I was tempted but being about 15 would have got my arse kicked as they all looked rough lads! Anyone here have a go in one of these places? What happened?
