Parker never sustains an attack and he has no inside game whatsoever, except just to clinch. With bigger and fitter opponents his power is going to look feeble. Okay, good handspeed and not bad footwork but that's about it. He wants to stay well clear of Wilder and Joshua if he wants to remain an alphabet champ.

I have to agree. Parker didn't control space, he made space. There's a difference. One enhances the action, the other avoids it. He had the Bob father's blessing. I won't say he took off running, he didn't have to, Andy couldn't catch a cold, but that's too slow for those other guys.

Agreed. Whats he going to do if he cant get passed Wilder's jab? nothing...then you got Juiceua thats going to press him harder than Andy Ruiz and will land flush...I don't like his reaction to Takam in the late rounds when he was touched and even in the Ruiz bout I seen him lose balance just off grazing shots. Based off his last two opponents at World-Level it appears hes not packing a punch that can keep these guys off him for 12 rounds.

You can skip madantory for unification , so both Wilder & Parker should skip the madantory and fight each other

Wilder, Joshua, Parker, Wlad, and Ortiz need to start fighting each other.Throw Povetkin and Fury (when he gets back) in there too. It's dragged on wayy too long as is... There are only 2 or 3 fights between these 7 guys. Terrible...
Definitely. Fans have been starved of quality matchups in the HW division for too long.

These guys need to start putting up or shutting up.

Parker may have got the decision and a title but I think his stock actually went down after this performance. I had Ruiz winning 8-4 and I was going for Parker. He looked frustrated and confused for the bulk of the fight, could never get into a rhythm and got out jabbed and outworked by Ruiz. Parker's flaws were really brought to light in a fight that he never looked comfortable in. He's lucky he was in New Zealand but if he continues to perform the way he did in future bouts, good luck beating Joshua, Wilder, Ortiz, Povetkin or Haye.
