Parker is a very good fight for Hughie Fury next.

Parker is average i think and a guy of that level is probably the next logical step for Hughie Fury anyway. He can probably beat Parker if he's as good as some tipped him to be and win an easy World Title in the process.

The jury is still out on Hughie Fury though, he hasn't looked that great but he has also fought while very unhealthy which has been sorted out now apparently.

I think that will be a very interesting one to see.

Both Forbes and BoxingNV have collected a number of quick reactions to the fight, vast majority in favor of Parker. Both broadcast feeds (NZ and UK) that I was watching had every analyst in favor of Parker.

As disappointed as I am by Parker's gameplan, it was negative and he refused to let his hands go - there's no way anyone can call a Ruiz win there and believe themselves. He just didn't win enough rounds.

Parker is seen as one of the few people capable of dethroning Wilder and Joshua - both US and UK fanbases are invested in undermining Parker.

It wasn't handed to them, they were the highest ranked available opponents to fight eachother. Would you like me to list a bunch of world class fighters who have won vacant titles?

He was going to fight Joshua, but Joshua vs Wlad was almost official and by the time that fight fell through, Parker vs Ruiz were already close to agreeing a fight.

Liam Smith won a vacant title against Thompson then your man Canelo went and fought him. Is he a paper champ then? Ruiz is certainly a top 15, probably a top 10 heavyweight. Parker has also fought Takam who's a solid top 10 fighter.

The poll on here has about 15 votes and there's a lot of Mexican fans on here who are obviously going with their man, which is understandable.

I'm on my phone atm so cba looking back on twitter, but feel free to have a look at the countless polls yourself, or I will post a link when I'm on my laptop

Lol at least one guy mentioned some sources, John Locke and that other guy on the other hand, resorted to 's.

Show me how he won this fight, your reasons. What was it?

And 8-4 is an equivalent of 65—35 (a little more than that).

              That's what I call a majority decision.

Haye was KTFO by a lesser fighter than Ruiz.

Parker is athletic enough to evade Haye's offense and implement his own.

There's no need for such intrigue.

Parker is who he is...no sense undermining him...he does a good job of that himself.

Parker was hit flush by Ruiz and Takam and Haye is levels above both of them, Haye is probably the fastest heavyweight in the world and Parker won't see the 4th if he steps in with Haye. Haye was a novice when he got caught

                      just saw this fight now.

None of them are top 10 really.
