I think what you meant was Kovalev bamboozled Ward, Ward couldn't land as often as he would wish his shots were getting blocked he had to go body hunting whereas Kovalev jab would land at will and when Ward went in for a clinch (which he did 51 times) Kovalev would BAMBOOZLE Ward by combating the clinch by locking the head or going for double underarms to negate the dirty tactics of Ward.

If he moved up and fought at a weight class he never fought at before why did he in the amateurs fight at 175lbs and win a gold medal as a light heavyweight?
Why did he also go on record and say he was struggling to make 168lbs and that also making 175lbs wasn't that easy as well?

This sounds like a guy who went up or could no longer make weight, Ward like I said many times in the past is a weight bully the moment he fought someone roughly the same size as him he was not effective in his dirty rule breaking clinching.
Nobody expected Kovalev to school Ward though, I believed Ward would have had the beating of Kovalev but like many others we were proven wrong perhaps we believed the handful of Ward nuthuggers that are on the forums spreading nonsense and undeserved accolades to Ward.
