I'm always wary of the home built records, the miracle worker in the woods. This one, Belchert, had a hiccup, he's vulnerable. Vargas is a step up and on neutral ground. I see the logic in picking Vargas, he's been in damaging wars; the wear and tear is there, Belchert is fresher. Vargas has a familiar style too, no need for special sparring and such. Just the same, we'll find out if this home built can fly.
