WTF!?!?! Haye only 7-1 favorite over Bellew?????

I thought it would be somewhere between 20-1 to 50-1, so they are saying Bellew has better chance of beating Haye than Stiverne beating Povetkin

I think that's about right to be honest. 20-50/1 odds on are usually reserved for the names fighting tune-ups against journeyman types.

Regardless of what you think of Bellew, he is a current beltholder (albeit at the weight below) and has shown some good form recently. Plus, we really don't know what Haye has left if things get tough, as he blew through his 2 (weak) comeback opponents.

For the record I think Haye will KO Bellew, probably around round 6. Your prediction Sadiq?

Haye hasn't exactly been facing world beaters recently and he took a lot of time off. Something worth considering.

I'm not sure what I would have guessed the odds were but I will say I'm not stunned.

David Haye's been out of the ring, more or less, for 4 years (the last two guys he fought weren't much more than punching bags, so I guess you give him the benefit of having gone through two fight camps without injury.

Weigh that against Tony Bellew having been active and having fought solid names, the fact that Bellew can punch real hard in his own right, and that the size difference likely won't be all that much anyway (I don't that that, though Haye has spent more time as a heavyweight, the size difference between Haye and Bellew will end up being with 10-15lbs), there's reason to see the fight as being less of a washout than some would think.

Povetkin-Stiverne is likely looked at the way it is because 1)Povetkin has consistently proven that he's one of the top heavyweight fighters on the planet and 2)Stiverne is a bad camp away from being severely impacted in the ring.

I think Haye knocks him out in the first round tbh, I think guys like Mark De Mori and Gjeraj beat Bellew

7-1 sounds about right to me.
