Comments Thread For: Wilder: Molina Might Be 'Bipolar,' But Has Heart to Upset Joshua

Deontay Wilder was surprised to learn Eric Molina said last week he considers Anthony Joshua a better fighter than Wilder. Wilder knocked out Molina in the ninth round of their June 2015 fight for Wilder's WBC heavyweight title. Since then, Wilder recalls reading and hearing that Molina complimented him following their fight.

Why doesn't it surprise me that Wilder doesn't believe in skills.

Molina should say stuff like that AFTER the fight not before, so yeah i disagree with him there. Until you get in there with someone and get hit, you shouldn't compare them yet with your past opponents.

Molina & Wilder are on good terms & they often spar too.. Indeed it is strange for Molina to say AJ is better than Wilder without facing him..

Wilder has been a pro for 8years ffs and fought only one live opponent that entire time. I would be surprised if he didnt fight Povetkin , as a low risk huge reward fight, but it looks like hes joining the AJ cash out crowd.

              Why not?

It's evident to me that Joshua is better than Wilder in every aspect so why shouldn't it be to Molina who fought Wilder?

I'm sure Molina also knows Joshua is better than other opponents he fought in the past not just Wilder.

                  Why is that a surprise??

Anyone who isn't a biased Wilder fan can see Joshua is better, Wilder lacks some of the basics and at times looks like he started boxing yesterday.

Wilder thinks this fight is going to the late rounds??? Loool!! .... expect Joshua to get this done in under 5 rounds at the most.

                    This ^^^

It is also in Joshua's best interest to KO Molina within 9(Wilder KO'ed Molina in the 9th), so that its adds to the build up of the Wilder-AJ fight..
