I have been saying this for years about Lampley. He used to be my favorite commentator in the 90's. But lately he has been horrible. I completely agree with Virgil. He almost ruined Timothy Bradley's career, and the things he has said about Mayweather on air were completely unprofessional. I think we are seeing the downfall of HBO boxing. Showtime commentators are 10x better and the fights are much more interesting.

Lampley is an iconic voice but he is terrible sometimes and he's always got to have a horse in the race..... I remember when Ortiz headbutted Floyd and it was so blatant, Lampley said "the ref called it a headbutt, I thought Ortiz was jumping on him" ..... yeah Jim, Ortiz was jumping with his head.
