I remember about a year or so ago, I made a thread talking about a "old style" pound for pound fight. I made that thread when there was some talk of Mayweather moving up to fight Winky even though he was much much smaller.
Now, I would love to see Floyd fight Margarito, Hatton, Cotto, or whoever but wouldnt it be cool if Floyd beat Oscar and Winky beat Taylor, and then they meet at 154?
They are ranked 1 and 2 on the pound for pound list and if Floyd beat Oscar then a fight with Winky wouldnt be a joke like alot of people said at 1st. Floyd will still be really small and Winky wouldve just had 2 fights at 160 but that would be a huge fight for "Hard Core" boxing fans. The mainstream wouldnt care much but that would maybe be the best 2 fighters in the world going at it. That fight would do alot for both of there legacies and if Floyd beat Oscar and Winky at a weight he has no business being at then you have to start talking about him as one of the All Time Greats.
Would any of you want to see that or do you think it would just be a boring fight and would be way down on your "must see" list?
