Mcgregor might be the smartest guy in combat sports I have ever seen.

HAHAHA a boxing forum is LITTERED with threads about a current MMA champion. This guy is literally getting richer with every article, forum, or podcast that dsicusses him.

It's mayweather esque. Except Mayweather played the villian, so people would tune in to hopefully see him lose.

The only thing that matters is Floyd is the one who started the rumor of a proposed fight, that call out stuff from Rousey and Conor was mainly idiot reporters trying to bring it up can you brat Floyd etc.

How is that the only thing that matters? If Conor had not claimed he could beat Floyd on three separate occasions Floyd would have had no reason to consider a fight with him.

Best article I read on this had quite a lengthy title, something along the lines of 'Analysis: Is there anything McGregor could do to make a boxing match difficult for Mayweather'. The article was one word long. No.

Then I think the next to chime in was Khan wasn't it ? Then Malignaggi. Then Katsidis.

At least Khan offered a 2-leg affair, one in the ring and one in the octagon. Khan would get iced in the octagon of course, but could probably avoid losing more brain cells by being choked out instead of knocked out (I'm betting it would last longer in the ring than in the octogon - maybe they could declare the winner that way - who lasts longest on the others turf).
