Carl Frampton doesn't think Leo Santa Cruz can improve much in their rematch on his performance from their first fight. The featherweight champion from Northern Ireland won their July 30 bout by majority decision at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Frampton (23-0, 14 KOs) didn't throw or land more overall punches than the relentless Santa Cruz (32-1-1, 18 KOs), but he won by sizeable margins on two of the three scorecards (117-111, 116-112, 114-114) and took Santa Cruz's WBA super world featherweight championship.

He can start out faster and where Frampton down sooner! And that was some BS!!! On two judges giving the 11th round and 12th to Frampton. When Leo clearly win those rounds. Round 11 Leo snapped Frampton head back real good and round 12 Frampton was gassing big-time. Leo's gonna win the rematch.

i thought leo beat his ass for more than majority of the fight..but yes 11 and 12 were telling..leo almost put dudes head in the stands with one right hand..and round 12 in the final exchange leo was ***ing him up

First they're fighting in Vegas so who knows what's going to happen with those enough judges but I think the score was this should be a closer fight and don't underestimate Leo either way it's going to be a good fight...

Yeah those judges let the crowd swy them. No FRKN way did Frampton win 9 rounds to 3. Leo threw over 330 more punches than Frampton??? And they landed about the same amount of power punches.

What Leo needs to do different is not lunge forward and fight short. He needs to use his size and huge reach advantage. I don't know why he fought low and inside against Frampton???

It was a close fight but Carl was the clear winner for me. LSC should use his reach advantage by doing a Kov - use that frickin jab and don't get into a war with Framp as he is at least as heavy handed, at least as quick, if not a fraction quicker and his timing is better than LSC's timing.

So jab and run. One-twos. And come in with 5% better conditioning if possible so that if and when Framps tires in the championship rounds then you can properly take advantage. I'm not sure that Carl can improve his conditioning, he might just have a natural lack of endurance. He slowed with Quigg and LSC.

So for LSc >>> Stop trying to win all the battles but make sure you win the war.
