Stevenson got all defensive and uptight, truth hurts I guess. After Bellew embarrassed himself with his performance I don't watch his fights any more and I certainly won't tune in to watch Haye cripple his ass in a round, anyone with any interest in that fight isn't a boxing fan.

I can't look at Javan Hill the same no more after associating with that **** Stevenson, I used to think real highly of him.

Totally get what you're saying but the problem become us the "Hardcore Boxing Fans" are we patient enough to sit through mismatches with spectacular ending because we all want the big matches NOW even before casuals are even familiar with the two fighters we want big match ups and it is resulting into **** PPV Numbers because it was done before Casuals are familiar with both fighters. It ****** waiting for Mayweather vs Pacquiao and the match up fell flat in the ring but that years and years of build up I would say paid off for the fighters and everybody involved. We will NEVER have a match up that big in boxing again and the fans are mostly to blame because you refuse to allow promoters to build up fighters and build up match ups so BLAME YOURSELVES!

I ain't watching, period. When the knockout is uploaded I'll give it a watch, those pressers I find intolerable with Haye and Bellew I couldn't think of anything worse than them being in the same room.

So basically your blaming fans for wanting to see good fights between good fighters often rather than waiting years and years for fight that might not deliver in the first place? And in them years of 'marination' we get treated to mismatches (these things usually turn into a case of 'who can beat the bum better, case in point molina with prospective wilder v joshua clah).
If i was to list reasons why boxing is diminishing in popularity, i dont think fans not being patient enough for fights to happen would be on thre.

The UK casuals will pay for anything and swallow whatever you put in their mouths.
Completely disagree with TS. ^^^^ this might be more accurate (altho not entirely); I don't think anybody wants to see mismatches, but there may be certain groups of people more accepting of them than us in the States. If mismatches were the go-to formula PBC would have been bigger by now, people would not miss out on undercards so much, etc. Fans appreciate the UFC because they go in believing they're getting equally matched fights from the undercard to the main event.

Canelo and Golovkin were already good draws that were facing well-known fighters in those examples - those particular bouts drew international attention.

                  Probably about right.

You really have to do your research to catch a 50/50 battle these days usually. And usually those fights real 50/50's do not happen at world class.

You need a bit of a perfect storm like light middleweight seems to have where there are a bunch of talented fighters with not much of a reputation as yet.

I blame the fans for lack of Patients, don't complain about how low Ratings and PPV Buys are when you're force Promoters hands to give you match ups that only Hardcore Fans care about is what I'm saying

Every successful match up in history was BUILT UP FOR YEARS it didn't happen within months because fans wanted it. For Example Hagler vs Hearns, that was suppose to happen in 1982 but got canceled and didn't happen until 3 years later and it was worth the wait I would say. Hagler spent YEARS calling out Leonard before that finally got done.

Build up allow time for Casuals to get on board it is not for the Hardcore Fight Fans of course we already know them so we want them to fight NOW!

I thought it was on regular sky, but it's box office. No chance I'm paying a penny. Will stream it maybe, what else am I going to do for the 3 minutes it lasts.
