Collazo's slick southpaw style, quick hands and feet, and brilliant technical skill is gonna be too much for Ricky Hatton. Ricky Hatton is moving up in weight against a tall, strong welterweight who posesses a style that he has never faced in the professional ranks. Collazo is the real deal. Collazo can fill the ring up with punches and has incredible stamina. This is just a style that I don't think Hatton can contend with.

Collazo will start quick and win the first 3 rounds. Hatton will come on stronger in the middle rounds and do damage, but Collazo will stand in there and fight Hatton back with his faster hands and punch output. During that stretch, Hatton will suffer a cut that will hamper his fight plan, enabling Collazo to close stronger.

I wouldn't have picked Collazo for my first fight in America. He should have picked Vivian Harris, a man whose style he could shine against. This was a monumental error in management for Ricky Hatton.

And if he wins, will you give him credit?

I think Hatton is going to want to look big in his US debut. He will do whatever it takes to pull out the win if he feels he's losing. I don't know much about Collazo, though if he doesn't have the power to hurt Ricky, Ricky's going to walk right through the shots to get in close to **** to the body or to the head. I see Ricky pulling out a late stoppage in this.

exactly! i think hatton will break collazo down but collazo will put up some type of stuggle before being ko'd

after collazo beat mago and jestered in bs fashion, i would like to see hatton break collazo down slowly and brutally

                    I agree 100%

And stop calling Hatton a dirty fighter. the only time he fought dirty was against Kostya tszyu. And u wanna know why? KOSTYA TSZYU IS A DIRTY FIGHTER!!! theres an expression in boxing that goes "if he hits u low, u hit him low back." Hatton was just doing what was necessary to win. SO stop the nonsense. u dont know what ur talking about.

yep as someone who has been raised in the tradition of if someone hits you hit them back like most of us I'd imagine, I can't find anything wrong with Ricky nailing him in the bollocks.
