IN boxing you are pretty much only as good as your last fight, if he puts in a great performance in his next fight its pretty much all forgotten about. Ortiz jacked the fight against maidana but then was a hero after he went to war with berto. Boxing fans are dumb and have short memories.
Boxing fans have short memories? When you quit on national television, nobody is going to forget. All boxing fans remember no mas, it's a boxing legend. Lots of luck getting boxing fans to forget this.

Throw him in the mix with Vargas, Salido, and Miura.

everyone was singing ortiz's praises after the berto fight, 'redemption' and all that bull****. They did the same when cotto beat margarito in the rematch after he quit in the first fight. Walters was the big cheese after demolishing donaire wasnt he, now hes overrated and a coward. As i said, majority of you are all very fickle, if he goes to war in his next fight youll all forgive him.

You already forgot that Walters has a record. He lost a title on the scales and blamed it on some culinary disease. If anything, he's going from bad to worse.

**** that. Guys refuse fights all the time. Their promoter is supposed to get them another fight. Arum refused to get Walters another fight after he didn't accept the initial Lomachenko fight. That was crooked ***** on Arums part. Walters was a punk for coming back and taking the Lomachenko fight after being sat on the shelf. He might as well of just took the fight the first time it was offered. Arum was crooked for sitting him on the sidelines though.

As far as Walters. He could be built back up by being matched with face first Latin guys like Salido. Arum will probably match him tough though. He tends not to give his black guys from the Carribean match ups against opponents that would raise their profile.

Let him fight on FNF for at least 2 years before getting another huge paycheck. This guy is a disgrace.

I dont get why folks cursing this dude like he should be excommunicated by the vatican lol why dont u spew that in the direction of the great roberto duran, or delahoya with pacman, or kostya tszyu who wasnt even taking flush punches from ricky hatton, just got hugged into submission lol short memories. Yea what he did was bad no doubt but atleast he stepped up to the ggg of lower weight classes, atleast he didnt duck blatantly like canelo and many others, let the niga live dayum. i respect him more for quitting and admitting defeat than faking an injury actually, so loma got his win fair and no need for rematch.
