What belts does Katsidis have? Didn't realize he was a current unified world champion...

Anyway Mcgregor-Malignaggi is what I want to see.

Not as embarrassing as McGregor asking Floyd for $100m when he's never made more than $15m for a fight.

McGregor's boxing background was as prolific as being a youth-level All-Ireland boxer when he was in his teens (Wikipedia doesn't go into much detail, but McGregor was over to MMA by the time he was 18, after only even starting to box at 12), yet he's going to call out the p4p best boxer on the planet? lol

Michael Katsidis boxed in the 2000 Olympics at 130lbs, won a professional world title at 135lbs, and challenged for world titles (multiple times) at 135/140.

Katsidis is clearly passed it, but what's embarrassing in beating on an elite athlete (but not an elite boxer) in a boxing ring for a nice check?

Looks like they found a "name" that McGregor could actually beat. Small, shot to bits & been in and out of jail for meth possession. Probably brain damaged and not even an active fighter any more.

Michael Katsidis has the track record to prove that he can really box at the top-level; Conor McGregor's boxing resume goes as far as winning a youth-level All-Ireland title in his teens and getting done over in a sparring session by Chris Van Heerden (a solid welterweight fighter, but a guy who did get beat pillar to post by Errol Spence Jr).

Boxing resume for boxing resume, McGregor vs Katsidis is a far more competitive boxing match, even though it's one that McGregor is still likely the underdog in.

A youth-level Irish title is supposed to give McGregor standing to talk about Floyd Mayweather Jr? gtfoh
