This sounds silly. Hell more suburb living white kids listen to gangsta rap music & they aren't shooting up the Starbucks like cats are doing every weekend in Chicago or other places with big gang problems.

There is a level of poverty, lack of hope, lack of opportunities, lack of people giving a f#ck about them that leads to kids joining gangs & criminal **** becoming a focal point of their life that most people on this forum could never understand or grasp. Music isn't a problem or even part of the problem. Its much more deep & invasive than that.

If you don't think music affects the minds of children, you sir, don't know a thing about children nor do you know a thing about proven scientific studies on music's affect on a child's psyche.

Do you not think nursery rhymes have an affect on a child's psyche? How did you learn your ABC's? That's right through music.

Regarding you bringing up white suburbia listening to hip hop and not shooting up the club like urban Chicago, you know just as well as I do that there's a difference in the environment in the white suburbs than there is in the war zones of Chicago.

Just speculation but there are bad parts in Chicago. Black on Black crime there is overwhelming. They call it Chiraq. The list of talented Rappers killed and rappers convicted for murder is Long. Time to make a change


Look at this culture they have a 15 year old boy acting this way. Gangsta rap music is influencing and brain washing the youth.

Funny thing is, half of the people shooting these videos and talking all that **** ain't really about that life. But kids really think so.

You make no sense. You cop to Chicago kids shooting each other up all week long. You cop to white suburban kids not shooting each other up in the Walmart electronics section. But than you think the music all these kids are listening to is somehow affecting the kids in the war zone but not the suburban kids.

Maybe....wait for it...the war zone is the problem not music. Nobody wants to talk about it, but there are people of all races killing each other in the war zones in the US & there are people of all races chilling the f#ck out in the suburbs.
