Praising fighters by bashing other fighters

Why do people need to bash a figher to praise their figher? I am a big lomachenko fan but when people start comparing him to Mayweather and criticizing for running it doesn't really do anyone any good. I am not a Mayweather fan but he was good at what he did and deserves respect regardless of his style. This is just one example but it seems to be trend. **** on one figher to help you shine your diamond.

Thats some standard sports fan type ****. A lot of cats enjoyment for their particular sport, regardless if it boxing, football, baseball, soccer or whatever, is about ribbing the other team/guy as much if not more than hyping their own team/guy. This happens all the time on & off the internet.

Thank you! When I used to manage a large crew I noticed this behavior. Some people work hard and when asking for a promotion, they refer to the quality of their work. Others choose to bash and taddle as a means of making themselves seem better by comparison. It's usually the less intelligent, or pseudo-intelligent ones that do this.

If you're basing a fighter in order to make your fave sound better, your favorite fighter either isn't as good as you're making him out to be, or you are just a an idiot.
