How anyone can let themselves get like this though is beyond me. That's shocking. I'm not a pro boxer but I'd never let myself go like that. Imagine if tennis players only played a few times a year- Murray and Djokovic waddling round at 15 stone 2 months prior to Wimbledon.

Professional boxing has become a joke.

Too bad for Gabe Rosado that he got stuck with willie Monroe instead of the expected match up with Saunders. He would've beaten yesterday's version of Saunders for sure.

GGG wants the belt, the opponent doesnt matter.

Title of article: 'At least BJS was honest....'

                BJS before the fight:

'..I've been training really hard for four months and now, as all can see, I'm in blinding shape; really fresh, really hungry again....'

                BJS after the fight

'....a year out doing absolutely nothing, just losing weight for the last 6 months, then coming back and fighting....'

So at least one of those was honest.

(hang on, just realised what 'really hungry again' meant before the fight. Doh!)

He wouldn't have lasted 2 rounds against GGG... Even Mack " dull knife" Macklin would have beaten him!

He avoided Eubank by getting Eubank Sr to argue with his own promoter so that his promoter dumped Eubank and called in Brook instead. Devious.

He avoided BJS by low-balling him with an offer of 3m (which BJS says was 1.5m) when BJS had a much more lucrative option in a leisure centre in Paisley.

He's avoided Jacobs by convincing Jacobs he needed longer to train for the fight - Jacobs would have been fine for Dec.

He avoided Cotto by convincing him to fight Canelo instead.

He's avoided Quillin because, well, wouldn't you ?

I think he avoided Heiland as he saw the movie Highlander and got the two confused.

About the most sensible answer you'll get about who he's avoided.

(unless you go the jump-weight route, then I guess its Ward)
