  • Boxing Stars needs to have a guest appearance in WWE.

Just like in the old days when you had Mike Tyson, James Buster Douglas, Lennox Lewis, Floyd Mayweather, and Ricky Hatton participating in some WWE Story lines, and showing at Monday Night Raw and in some PPV's.

Can you imagine if Ward, Lomachenko, Kovalev, Canelo, Crawford, Gonzales, Golovkin show up in the WWE to promote their fights?

They need some media exposure. Pacquiao and Mayweather are still the most popular name in boxing. Casuals don't know the name of the reigning pound for pound king, and even Kovalev and Ward.

Ricky actually tried to cut off the ring on him......lol. That was funny. But what a right hand from the Hitman.

            "Weighing slightly over 140lbs"

Who are they kidding, looks like Hatton just got done eating someone who weighed slightly over 140lbs.

EDIT: Oh lol, the commentators just riffed on that

Lol. And I'm looking at Charo like "there's no way he's 215 either".

They did a pretty good job on making that right hook look real

You're overstating the amount of actual crossover that's happened between boxing and wrestling a touch; Tyson, Floyd, and Hatton (well after Ricky was retired) are the only names that pop up in recent history.

Beyond that, for the crossover to even make sense for anyone, the situation/personas need to make sense; Floyd's participation in WWE was the monster success that it was because Floyd had a persona that drew a sharp reaction, Floyd was willing to go with how the crowd took his persona (Floyd was supposed to be the good guy, but went with it when the crowd turned on him), and the actual matchup (Big Show-Floyd) had a payoff that the fans were amped to see (the audience was more than primed to finally see Floyd get beat at something).

There's a reason why the crossover rarely happens.

Alvarez(Mexican national hero), Ward (still America's last male Olympic boxing gold medalist and p4p #1), and the winner of Wilder-Joshua (hopefully a bout to determine the undisputed heavyweight world champion) would make for possible crossovers, but you're going to have a proper situation come up.

Alvarez vs anti-Mexican WWE arc, Ward vs Wyatt Family (good guy who's made it through the rough, with "evil" trying to turn him vengeful), Wilder-Joshua winner vs Lesnar (big dog vs big dog), heck even Kovalev-Cena (Kovalev embraces the "I love Russia" villain, facing off against "captain America") are plausible, but you've got to set that up when things make sense
