Walters>Abeko so of course Loma would be cautious put Agbeko or Nonito against Loma then we will see the numbers and the difference. Judging fighters fighting 2 different fighters is one of the most dumbest things you could do.

The level of opponent matters too. Because Walters is a lot better and more dangerous than Agbeko.

The thing with Rigo is that those Agbeko performances are more common than people think. Against the car salesman from the Philippines, he landed 72/347 over 12 rounds. Roughly connecting with 6 punches per round. His opponent landed 42/228.
Rigo landed a higher percentage of power punches doe

No ****, different caliber of fighter for ****'s sake.

What were Rigo's punch/round on Donaire for better comparison.

How about Loma averaging the same number of punches 1 fight ago against Roman Martinez. Same amount of punches thrown per round against both Martinez and Walters.

          Walters > Martinez right?

Not really since Nonito was a come forward punching bag that fight. Walters took out Rigos best opponent in his his resume easier and more spectacular.

That's like Pacquaio taking out Hatton easier except Walters was never a top 10 pfp fighter.

I remember that fight and I remember seeing the stats after, they are completely inflated. Rigo was throwing this range finding half jab that he wasn't even extending his arm on. They had no chance of landing but he threw like 30-40 per round and they were crediting those as punches. There's a reason he went from throwing 33 punches per round against Donaire to 71 against Agbeko.

Ok, what about Loma's pity pat punches, should we discount them as well?

You're right, but Nonito fighting Rigo showed he wasn't the same. Before Rigo he was already struggling with Vazquez and Mathebula. Unless he fought Arce or Nishioka people he had a huge size advantage he didnt look good. After Rigo he was losing the Darchinyan fight and went close with some guy Juarez.
