very good fight.
Both men gave it their all but I can't see how Gassiev wins it by such large margins -
I thought Lebedev probably should have edged it or a draw but I came away with so much respect for both guys:
Lebedev is f**king warrior. His face is permanently deformed and he has no quit in him. He boxed intelligently, yet he was clean and entertaining. I feel like he gave Gassiev a boxing lesson..not in a negative way..I mean Gassiev is definitely going to learn a lot from this fight.
Gassiev has a lot to work on but he is composed and physically, a damn monster. He is so young, with little professional or amateur experience...for him to even hang with Lebedev was impressive. I thought Gassiev respected Lebedev too much. You can tell he looks up to him. There was a lot of love, despite those punishing shots.
They should definitely rematch.Comment
