Comments Thread For: Frank Warren: Eubank Jr is All Talk, Won't Sign To Face Saunders

BILLY JOE SAUNDERS will face either Gennady Golovkin or Saul Canelo' Alvarez in 2017. That is if he does the job against Artur Akavov tonight in his first WBO middleweight title defence.

What other options does Eubank have? Hearn's not giving him anymore handouts and Eubank claims he now has the experience to beat BJS. Why not take the fight and win a belt and put yourself in the Canelo sweepstakes???

Together the Eubanks are blowing millions and maybe even the best part of his career. It's obvious now that Sr. never wanted to risk his cash cow until he was in his mind completely ready .Only trouble is he still put his name out there lying about his intentions and the very odd side of Sr. has been exposed at the expense of his son. What on earth was Sr. trying to do with the GGG negotiations , only conclusion is they didn't want it.Jr is a good fighter , how good, his dad won't let us know but it's time to make a big statement as another loss could set him back years and take them out the limelight and big money.

To be honest I don't think Eubanks is any further down the line experience wise.

Having said that, Saunders lack of activity would probably make it a close fight.

I think Eubanks is terrified of losing twice to Saunders and essentially ending any real chance of huge payday.

I agree, I think Eubank's pride makes him scared of a 2nd loss, otherwise there's no since to avoid a big payday, title, and putting himself in the picture with huge payday's vs Canelo or GGG. That WBO belt is a big deal right now.

Eubank didn't have any real fights prior to BJS. Since then he went 12 with Chudinov, then beat Blackwell, Doran, O'Sullivan pretty easy. I'd say he's definitely more experienced than their first fight.

LOL BJS is all talk as well, he won't sign to fight Golovkin.

Cej is supposed to have so much talent. I'd love to see him display it against top opposition.

Is there anyone the Eubanks haven't pissed off?

                  Bunch of time wasters.

Saunders IS Eubank's REAL father after all...

Just like Ginger George Groves is the father of James DeFAIL. SOG - Son of Ginger.
