Verbal agreement? You're putting faith in a verbal agreement? Last year, they had a written agreement to fight after the Cotto fight; we see how that worked out. Canelo called GGG into the ring after Khan and gave a 'verbal agreement' that he was willing to fight "right now". We see how that worked out. This is the same Canelo that used the excuse of not having fought "at the full 160", the same Canelo that still hasn't fought "at the full 160", and since he doesn't seem willing to vacate his 154 title, doesn't seem interested in fighting "at the full 160", yet we are to believe that he will fight Golovkin next September "at the full 160". Sounds a lot like Jacobs, who will be ready for Golovkin next year. It's the same with all these guys; they'll be ready 'next year' or 'down the road'. Call me a skeptic, but I'll believe Canelo wants to fight when tickets go on sale

How awesome would it be if Akavov beats Saunders in a few hours?

If everything go's as planned it will be Saunders first and then unify in September! Canelo allready said he wants the fight and the date is set... they have more than enough time to work everything out and make the fight.

Saunders is looking like **** vs Akavov. Russian's beating him over the first 4 rounds. If he pulls off the upset, watch Jacobs vacate the WBA interim belt and fight Akavov instead (DiBella fighter).

I'm not saying louggler is scared to put ggg in with these fighters (though you could make an argument with ward) I just think he is pricing ggg out or trying to short his would be opponents.

There's just no way between 160-168 that there is not one legit top of division fighter that is willing to fight ggg I just don't buy it anymore. Everyone talks about ward and cotto being divas in negotiations sometimes fairly but at what point do we start holding team ggg to that same standard?
              Who is loughler or louggler.

And pricing ggg out, are you ****ing kidding me. He's one of the most marketable guys, but isn't doing ppv numbers. He doesn't demand guys pay him tens of million. Only one fight have they demanded anything comparable, and that's a percentage to the biggest fight in boxing, ones he will have waited years for by the time he gets it.

              Nice story though.

If everything WENT as planned, Canelo would have fought Golovkin right after the Cotto fight, as Mr Alvarez already agreed to. Hopefully we'll get the fight we should have gotten this year, next year. I'm just not holding my breath on either Canelo or Saunders

After tonight, I don't see BJS taking on a live opponent for the next fight or two now if he can help it.

Everybody wants to fight GGG on twitter and Facebook ... except Canelo who wants to fight him right now, but does not want to be pressured to make up his mind in such a short time like 1.5 years.
